Hello and Welcome to my The Sims shrine. Initially I just wanted to use this page to order my CC links but since I've joined to neocities and found out about shrines (that to summary I've never heard about it before) I decided to make this page into one.
The Sims is a life simulation PC game that was released on February, 4th 2000 and received two sequels: The Sims 2, on September 14, 2004 (which was fully 3D compared to the first game and featured an aging system) and The Sims 3, June 2, 2009 (which featured a fully open world and many customization options as the create a world and create a pattern tools). Besides these sequels the series have multiple spin offs to consoles and even have a online game: The Sims Online (that was closed down but is being revived by fans), a Facebook game: The Sims Social (now discontinued) and two p2w mobile games: The Sims Freeplay and The Sims Mobile. (Note: I'll only say this once, I'm a heavily biased sims player, I think that The Sims 4 is bad and I don't care about it or The Sims 5 or any other sequel that they make after this so I'm just going to ignore them here).
In this shrine I'm going to post my links of sims cc, my saves, houses and sims, misc links about the series, trivia, images and any other stuff that I find interesting. Since I can't play The Sims 2 or 3 right now, because of my old computer, my gameplay content will be focused on The Sims only.
The first sims game a ever played was The Sims along with Livin' Large EP and for a long time I thought that the EP and the main game were the same thing. After this I've played Hot Date and Unleashed, but I didn't had the chance to play the rest of the EP's until much later. (I'll just call the first iteration of the series without the "1" because that's how it was back then).
My favourite EP is Unleashed which I've given as a gift by my mother on children's day: I still remember that when we went to the supermarket, my mother said that I could choose a gift and I went to the electronics section where I found both Unleashed and Vacation EP's for sale. I pondered which one to choose because both sending your sims on vacation and having a pet were equal good but I thought that having pet cats were way better than going to the beach. I still think that this was the best gift I chose was a kid because the beaches on the game aren't even that (they don't even have a sea) and Unleashed is way better and has much more content.
I played The Sims 2, The Sims 2 from PS2 and The Sims 3 in this order. I first saw about The Sims 2 when I was mindlessly and stumbled a playthrough and I thought how cool it was that the game was 3D and that you could visit your neighbors (actually I thought that you could visit your neighbors back them so I was pretty disappointed, when I managed to play the game, that you couldn't but I still liked either way). The Sims 3 was different because it was the first game in the series that I managed to knew about its existence before the released date but even though I knew about the game I couldn't play it until years later.
